A new family moved into town to take over the recently vacant drug store, a family of three, Mick, the man of the house, his wife and his teenage son, who happen to be the same age as George's daughter and joins the local school. His son was more of a wild child, and persisted to take from his fathers stock for a quick high, he brought these narcotics into the school and soon gained popularity because of it. The boy fell into the same group of friends as George's daughter; because of this his daughter fell pray to drugs also.

George finds these drugs on his daughter and after finding where they're from, marches straight to the drugstore, he confronts Mick, and in a blind rage storms out, weeks pass and George comes home from work late one night to find the house surrounded by police, it becomes apparent that his daughter has been found dead after and overdose at school, George's personality starts to deteriorate and struggles to keep on with his daily routine, he's goes into weekly therapy sessions because of this.

One day whilst behind the counter of his local store, Mick's son enters the store and before thinking about his actions pulls him out back to give him a piece of his mind, after shouting at the boy, the boy tries to leave and in a rage swings him around where the boy pushes him, George pushes him back in anger as the boy slips on a spilled liquid and cracking his head open. In a panic he grabbed a jerry can and douses the store in petrol setting the place alight to cover up what happened.

George continued his therapy sessions; after word got out of the disappearance of the boy he starts to get worse and worse. He goes onto medication. From this point onwards, various strange events start to occur, George starts having arguments with his wife about his attitude to life, and the lack of money they have after losing the business. From this point onwards the streets became deserted, no one seemed to be about, as if someone had made this happen, people were moving away, as businesses were shouting down, more and more people were going missing. George was then taken away for question after his wife is found brutally murdered in their own home, and upon investigation into the case plans for the murder and a revenge plot against the town after what happened to his daughter have been unveiled giving evidence to the to the disappearance of many of the towns people yet no evidence of the bodies. George is arrested and held in the local police department.

Not long after George is taken away, tipping him over the edge of sanity, he is accused of the murder and there is evidence he has something to do with the missing people and recent murder cases, he is put away in the local police station after investigations further and not long after charges are almost directly pointed at his mental health as he is carted away to a mental health hospital out if town.

Story:
The player will awake in an old rusty van speeding down the highway, he is bound and gaged and quickly drifts back to a slumber.

The player awakes in the back of this van it is now night and he is cut complete free, he climbs out looks around and asks himself "Where am I? Who brought me here? Wait I'm not entirely sure who... I am?" The players suffering from a short-term memory loss, playing the game will bring parts of his. The player is placed outside a van directly parked next to an abandoned gas station. The station is empty and ransacked. In the back of the store is a newspaper, "major struggles to shed light on Brackwood disappearances" along with a flick lighter. The lighter has limited fuel and produces low-level lighting, Fluid can be found throughout the town.

On approaching the exit the player will become face to face with a hairy figure as his vision becomes impaired and the colour will desaturation, this will signify a memory, vision or hallucination. A streetlight will spotlight the character and shut off as the player becomes closer. The figure will escape up the road and the player follows it through a wooded dirt track full of trash and other signs of an abandoned society.

The figure will disappear into the dark and the player will be brought to the wide and open town square, with the town hall towering over it, a downed street lamp spotlights the town hall projecting a figured shadow onto it, as the fountained center of the square has a crucified scarecrow atop it, upon approaching it the camera will swoop into the profile of the scarecrow in the hazy fashion as it screams at the player, a white flash will clear the screen and a leaflet will be pinned to the now lifeless scarecrow. It is a basic map of the town.

Upon entering the town hall, the player will find himself in a maze of offices some path ways never ending and various inanimate objects moving around the hallways, lights flickering and whispers echo through the corridors of the economic decline and how business and properties soon became empty and unused as people were moving out the town to get away from the trouble, how people are going missing daily. The player will find a Dictaphone belonging to the major, talking about his worries and what is happening to the town, he'll need to bring a closure to the town until the mystery can be sorted. Upon exiting the town hall the lamp will shut down.

The next building the player will come across is the drug store, with a street lamp outside signifying the interest, upon entering the player will hallucinate again seeing two black figures over the counter arguing "how can you let this happen! You're supposed to be a professional! You’re a business! Is it your son? That's what my daughter telling me! I bet it is? Control your children! Or I'm going to the police" " I'm sorry sir I didn't know? Ill make sure I get to the bottom of this, please don't sir ill loose my license, my store, my job!" The players vision returns to normal, upon searching the abandoned store the player will find a locked door needing a combination, which when the lighter is active is written across the wall behind the counter, upon opening the door the player will find the a prescription and a bottle of pills.

The player will find himself at the clinic, upon entering the clinic the television will flash on with static, spotlighting the player, after entering the corridor of the clinics offices, the television will start to play an interview, a therapy session with a man who lost his daughter then the tape skips to a new date, he talks about how he's lost his job, he's resenting his wife and he's done a terrible thing, an un forgive able thing, but it was an accident. When getting closer to the final door the sound from the television will fade and the same conversation will be heard from within, the doors locked so the player must barged his way in, to find an empty room and notes written up from the sessions with the man.

Our next destination is the police station, exploring the station will cause a number of radios to alert, each with a different event, "we have a suspicion of drug use at the local school may want to check it out" "we have reports of a 16 year old girl overdosing at the local school" "we have a report of a fire on first street at the general store all units", "we have a missing persons report, young boy of 16" "we have reports of a murder of a middle age woman at the Michaels house" "we've taken her husband into custody, better get someone down here, you won't believe what we've found", upon entering the cell the player will hallucinate again and see a black figure in the cells bound, he is hysterical crying how he didn't do it, he'd made mistakes but he didn't do this, he loved her. The character will vanish in a flash and show papers scattered, release papers stating the transfer to a mental hospital.

Next were brought to the church, upon entering the dark and empty church, candles following down the walkway will ignite, thunder will strike and a shrieking cry will echo through the church, as a coffin will appear at the altar, the thunder will strike again and it will disappear, another strike will cause it to reappear with two, a final strike will blackout the room and rain will pour, a leaflet will float to the floor, stating a memorial service for a woman and her daughter.

From the church we are brought to the school, comprised of two solid corridors, and multiple classrooms, some open some locked, figures will run from room to room crossing the players path, whispers will be heard through out, rumors of kids dealing, drugs going around the school, who has them, the drug stores son is mentioned, then rumors of a girl overdosing, when entering the girls toilet the player will hallucinate again and find a dead girl on the floor, a flash will clear the room and leave a small bag of a substance on the floor.

The general store comes up next, the store is full almost as if it is still open yet it is empty, following through the aisles the player will be brought to a staff only store room, you'll hear shouting as he player starts hallucinating "get off me you can't do this" "I lost my daughter because of you, ya little shit! Do you realize what you've done?!" "I didn't mean to it was just some fun, let me out" "no I don't think you realize what you so called fun has caused" you hear a struggle and the door tries to be open "get back here boy I'm not done with you" "get off me" "don't you push me boy" you here a slip and a crack, "shit... Ah shit... Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!" You here a man panic then the sounds of a liquid being scattered, suddenly the entire building is engulfed with a maze of flames, the player must make his way out, the front door will be locked and upon finding a photo of a young girl signed my angel the screen will go black and the player will awake among rubble, as if it happened along time ago.

The final building is a deserted house in the center of the town, each room is gleaming and untouched, upon entering each room the player will hear a memory, as this happens entering he next room will clutter the previous, showing it's true setting, the player will hear a story, first father lecturing his daughter about drugs, a father shouting at his daughter for having some and where she got it from and storming out, father and mother mourning over the death of their daughter, argument between the couple about the fathers attitude, wife talking about recent disappearance of boy and the fire at their store and the bluntness of the husband, the wife home alone and hearing things, couple arguing and husband storming out, suddenly screaming as the door is burst open. When this happens in the final room a hallucination will occur seeing the wife's body, this will happen only for a short moment when the player exits the room a cut scenes will occur, the player will see the figure at the end of the hallway, the will run at the figure and upon reaching it the figure will fade away to show a mirror the player will fallback down the stairs passing out and awaking in a cellar bound up with a dark figure circling you.

The player will be circled by a dark figure; it is not apparent who it is. Depending how much the allure finds out for him depends on the speech this person will give.

Final speech
Snippet based

Intro
"Hello friend, remember me, you took something from me, and since I can't exactly take it back, I thought I'd do it my own way! The meds will soon wear off; this will all come back to you!

Town hall
Ya see the town changed after what happened, well you know that more than anyone don't you, people stopped coming in, people were leaving, most of all people were disappearing. Hmm I wonder why... It was apparently a family man, a man named George, a man that lost it all, and wanted to take his revenge!

Drug Store
George confronted his demons before it all turned to shit, and if something were done about that, this wouldn't have all happened would it? If that short shit Mick had sorted his son out, we wouldn't have this problem.

Clinic
There was some stuff floating round the schools ya see, remember? Yup sure you do! It's all coming back now remember that boy the one who went missing, he was the one bringing drugs into the school, he was the reason so many kids were getting hooked, the reason George lost his daughter! Remember the prick that let it happen? The owner of the store! You should do! His name was MICK keep up!!!

General Store
So remember George? He was the owner of the general store, the one who lost his daughter because of drugs! The one who may have made some mistakes, accidents, as you will. He may have accidentally killed the beloved drug store owner’s son; he wasn't exactly a little angel though was he? Ya see it wasn't his fault, he was upset, he didn't mean what he did, yet he paid the price, he had to loose it all apparently! Doesn't seem fair does it? Not compared to what MICK got away with!

Police Station
Ya see this man named George went away for all this, after losing his daughter, his job suddenly GEORGE was accused for taking the life of his own wife and then for the rest of the fucking town!!! Ya see I worked it all out, George didn't do it ya see, there was another fella out there, he had lost something too, and felt it was in his own hands to do something about it, he took it too far, he had a man falsely accused for actions which he did not commit, all for loosing his little shit of a son!

School
They found her, dead, because of him, that little shit, he didn't mean it, and it was for fun. Doesn't mean shit. He knew what he was doing and paid for it. End of. But it didn't have to happen to her, not her.

Church
But ya see poor George missed his daughter’s funeral; you could say that his wife didn't but she wasn't exactly singing choir there was she? No, they were there together, the stars of the show, and for what!!!?

Final
I lost my life because of you, because of your selfishness. She didn't have to die! Yes, that's right MICK, It was all you! And I know that now. You’re going to pay for this friend. It's George's Day of Redemption"
